Vehicular Instrumentation Systems (VIS) VIS began in 1964 as a privately-held company named Dixson that designed, manufactured and sold automotive and heavy truck gauges. With over 50 years of field experience in developing solutions for punishing vehicle applications, VIS has mastered developing rugged designs for our customers’ most grueling applications. VIS works closely with OEMs to develop customized vehicular electronic systems. Many customers view VIS as an extension of their own engineering teams.
